Tree of Life Pendant free tutorial

Tree of Life pendant is very popular among wire jewelry artist. I always wanted to make one for myself so I search in the web for available tutorial. Found this tutorial on YouTube, a video showing step by step on how to create a Tree of Life Pendant by Camille Sharon. It's pretty easy to follow as the she has capture the steps very clearly.

Now I have my very own of Tree of Life pendant following the video. I use 18g artistic wire for the frame and 26g for wrapping. Instead of round beads, I use turquoise chips.

Gosh!!! It's Friday again and 3rd day of July, means that we are already half way through 2009! 1 week has passed since Louise visit me, and I have not been updating my blog.

She wanted to learn more about how to use blogger. Hehee... can't call myself an expert yet, but I'm certainly more than happy to share my knowledge and experience.

I was like her 2 months back, started a blog but totally "blurr" on how to go about it. Thanks to Brother Chun Kiat, A Chia and Brian, my fellow mentors whom have given me great advise and guidance through my learning curves.

While Melok's Place remains as my personal, family & friends blog; I have now created a new blog for all my darling handmade jewelry - , click here to find out more.

There are a lot more to explore in this cyberspace. What's next? Twiteer...Myspace... Stumble Upon...

Beware of this!!!

There's still a lot of irresponsible ppl trying to "steal" money from us, so beware!!!! Daddy receive this SMS , he did not apply or enter any competition organised by this company nor bought any of their product before. By the way, this company name does not exist, the actual name is Power Root (M) Sdn Bhd. Daddy do not have any friend with this number, so.......Who dare to call them?

收纳新 Idea

New Material

Sneak view of what I've made

Last week I bought some more beads and finding from Beading World again. I prefer buying from them coz they sell in smaller quantity, so as a new beader I can try on varieties rather than buying in bulk. More importantly I find they have quality stuff.

My favorate pass time

Earrings made after buying some findings and beads

Bracelets I've made recycling some of my sister old chain and jewelry

My very first creation

Lately I have urge to start doing things that I like to do when young, beading and jewelry making. Since I'm currently staying at home most of the time, this will keep me busy. It's really satisfying when a piece of jewelry is made. Especially when I see other people wearing my creation and they love it too. Feel free to give me any comment as there is always rooms for improvement.

I'm crazy about earring that's why I make the most of it. I'm now trying to make bracelet, will post more later. Stay tune.
